Gastronomic Experience Celebrates Sixteen Years

The "Grand Old Dame" as Raffles Hotel is affectionally known, is not only one of Singapore's most loved icons, she is also the host of the prestigious Raffles Hotel Wine, Food & Arts Experience - a glittering annual event featuring luminaries from the culinary world and prestigious wineries.

The 2011 Raffles Hotel Wine, Food and Arts Experience is the 16th anniversary of the event, and was be conducted from January 26 to 30,2011.

The gastronomic maestros that graced the famed dining rooms of Raffles Hotel include Michelin Star Chefs - Chef Gerald Passedat of seafront Le Petit Nice, France; Chef Gilles Goujon, owner of the charming I'Auberge du Vieux Puits, Fontjoncouse, France; and Chef Philip Howard of The Square, London, United Kingdom.

World-renowned vintages were also lavishly showcased throughout the five day experience - including Chateau Margaux and Chateau d'Yquem from Bordeaux, France; and Champagne Salon Blanc de Blancs from Cote des Blancs, Champagne, France.
